The new construction of the park is expected to begin in 2026.
Nahomi Park is one of the high spots to visit around the town, even to this day, when the state of the park shows deterioration. Despite the decay in some of the park´s structure, this place has an outstanding ambience.

The administration of Mayor Patricia Bolaños wanted to include the construction of an Olympic pool as part of the park renovations, but the budget was not approved for this proposal. Yet the town and municipality remain hopeful of getting a proper response and commitment from the government to carry out this relevant construction.
