Costa Rica appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show. The actress showcased the natural beauty of Costa Rica during the premiere week of Season 3 of CBS’ popular talk and entertainment show.

In this episode of Costa Rica on the Drew Barrymore show, a show guest received a trip to our country, and viewers received a cute stuffed sloth as a souvenir. A woman in the audience also received a trip to Costa Rica because her sloth had a winner’s sticker.

Drew Barrymore said she visited the country with her two daughters in 2019 and instantly fell in love with it. She “was surprised at how sustainable and advanced it was.” The American actress said she had much fun practicing canopy, beach surfing, and visiting waterfalls.

Costa Rica has become a favorite among celebrities, and we find continuous comments about our country in people like Salma Hayek, Chris Hemsworth, the Kardashians, and Leonardo Di Caprio. Besides the obvious beauty of Costa Rica, which has such an amazing |biodiversity, Costa Rica is also very well known for its true efforts in sustainability and trying to keep our nature and wildlife as untouched as possible.
We depend on tourism to achieve this goal. Although our national parks (Like manual Antonio) receive hundreds of visitors a day, the area dedicated to trails and facilities is quite small compared to the protected areas where the wildlife lives and are never touched by humans.
For us in Costa Rica, conservation is taught in schools and at home as a way of life. We believe in respecting nature and its processes for our species’ survival. So, when we see that these continuous efforts are published and recognized in shows that are seen by millions, we feel very proud and joyful, but we also realize that there is a lot of work to do and that our message, as a country, is worth knowing and living.
