We like to highlight the importance of this endeavor and related programs. This kind of activity has more reach than meets the eye. From the protection of maritime wildlife to the improvement of public health, and of course, the contamination control of water and aquatic ecosystems.
It also contributes to the tourist development of the area, and people enjoy getting involved in social responsibility programs while travelling. On top of the reality that everyone prefers clean beaches.
This effort comes from the Environmental Management Unit of the Municipality of Quepos, along with the Pro Blue Ecological Flag Committee.
