que produce frutos comestibles, concretamente la vaina de vainilla, utilizada principalmente como aromatizante. La vaina de vainilla es el fruto de la orqu\u00eddea Vanilla planifolia. <\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Es fascinante comprobar que tienen un planteamiento distinto de las costumbres habituales, evitando los fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos y confiando en cambio en m\u00e9todos como la agricultura biodin\u00e1mica. La granja tambi\u00e9n cuenta con una gran variedad de hierbas y especias, algunos cultivos de frutas ex\u00f3ticas y algunas plantas medicinales. <\/p>\n<p>El recorrido hace hincapi\u00e9 en el valor del sabor natural org\u00e1nico de las vainas de vainilla en comparaci\u00f3n con los sabores artificiales utilizados sorprendentemente por la gran mayor\u00eda en la industria gastron\u00f3mica. <strong>En este <span class=\"sq_briefcase_value\" title=\"Excursi\u00f3n a una plantaci\u00f3n de vainilla cerca de Quepos y Manuel Antonio\">recorrido por las plantaciones de vainilla cerca de Quepos<\/span> y Manuel Antonio, podr\u00e1s ver c\u00f3mo se secan algunas de las especias y las vainas de vainilla<\/strong>; las visitas a primera hora de la ma\u00f1ana tienen m\u00e1s posibilidades de observar este proceso, ya que aprovechan la luz natural del sol.<\/p>\n<p>Otra parte importante de la visita es la plantaci\u00f3n de cacao, donde se habla de la historia de este producto en nuestro pa\u00eds y se experimenta c\u00f3mo se preparan los granos de cacao para convertirlos en chocolate.  <strong>Las degustaciones se realizan al final del sendero, en una plataforma
